TTIC project in Shkoder, Albania


The Terre - Moto team is taking part of the organisation and implementation of the TTIC project, in Albania.

The main topics of he project are intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and the use of theatre tools. The project foresees 2 activities: a training course and an evaluation meeting. The methodological approach of the project will be focused on Non-formal education and the working methods will include theatre tools, team-building, working groups, evaluation sessions and follow-up activities. The project is structured in this way:

• a preparation phase in each country involved in the project;

• a training course to be held in Shkoder, Albania from the 27th of March to the 3rd of April 2017;

• a local phase in each country involved in the project;

• an Evaluation Meeting for representatives of all partner organisations to be held in Albania from the 2nd to the 5th of May 2017;

• a dissemination phase in each country involved in the project.

Objectives of the project:

• to offer to participants a clear methodological approach and new tools based on theatre and creativity in order to improve the impact of their youth social initiatives.

• to share among participant’s local best practices in youth work and theatre working methods focused on promote social inclusion among young people.

• to foster new networking youth initiatives based on theatre

Participation:

24 participants from the following countries: Italy, Albania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Hosting Organisation:

Dora e Pajtimit - (DeP) is an Italian-Albanian non-profit association active in the socio-cultural field since 2007. Social deviance, blood revenge, women discrimination are some of the issue. It intervenes in the areas with social problems through practical and participatory tools and education for development, working especially with young people. DeP is majorly focused on creating educational and social activities against violence and in favour of a peaceful coexistence of the local communities. The creative good practices of the social theatre are the main working tools of our association used as a strategy for free expression, education, and interaction between people and communities.
